Staff Position Requirements

ASSISTANT
COACHES
Job
Description and responsiblities
|
•
Minimum age 21 years
•
Must be able
to arrive at camp by June 6th, 2010
•
Must attend for all 9 weeks of camp
and orientation •
Must assist in all camp arrivals and departures
on Saturdays and Sundays •
Must assist with coaching 2 sessions per
day •
Assist with all dryland activities
•
May teach private lessons if assigned
•
Must assist in stroke, turn and drill classes
•
Must assist and be prepared to lead classroom
sessions •
Must eat all meals with campers •
Must assist in all evening activities, unless
otherwise directed •
Must assist in all daily camp operations
as directed •
Will have one day off per week •
Valid U.S. or International drivers license

Camp
FLA will provide:

Room, board, FLA
gear, evening activities and day camp trips. |

SWIMMER

NON
- SWIMMER CAMP COUNSELORS
Job
Description and responsiblities
|
MUST
• Be
at least high school level
graduate and 18 years old.
•
Able
to arrive at camp by June
6th, 2010 (If you may arrive
earlier, Camp FLA can make
arrangements).
•
Must attend for all 9 weeks
of camp and orientation.
•
Train 2 times each day with
the FLA National Team.
•
Compete for FLA in USA &
USMS meets as qualified (preference
to those than can be attached
to FLA).
•
Assist with dryland activities,
skill classes and beach games
as assigned.
•
Team
(with other counselors) a
group of campers for full
responsibility.
•
Attend
all Evening Activities and
Special Day Trips as assigned.
•
Eat
ALL meals with campers.
•
Set up and clean up after
all meals.
•
Inspect and clean the Game
Room - DAILY.
•
Help
prepare campers awards each
week.
•
Perform
any other duties assigned.
WILL
•
Assist in all camp arrivals
and departures on Saturdays
and Sundays.
•
Be assigned ONE full day off
per week (not including training).
MAY
•
Drive as assigned.
•
Be assigned private stroke
lessons. |

Supervise pre-care as assigned.
•

all Fun Camp practice / play
sessions as assigned.
•
Assist
with dryland activities, skill
classes and beach games as
assigned.
•
Team
(with other counselors) a
group of campers for full
responsibility.
•
Attend
all Evening Activities and
Special Day Trips as assigned.
•
Eat
ALL meals with campers.
•
Supervise
