Mission The bronze Group is the swimmer’s introduction to competitive swimming.  Practice time is focused on teaching and refining the four strokes and turns The Silver Group is the Developmental Group for our Competitive Swimmers. Strokes and Turns are continually refined.  Training sets are introduced. The Gold Group prepares the athlete to be the best age group swimmer he or she can be, while preparing for a successful senior and high school swimming career. Team Goals Include: FG JO and Winter Champs Team Champions The Varsity Team is our intro group for the high school swimmer.  Swimmers are encouraged to strive for the Senior Team.  Skills and Fitness are developed to get the athlete best prepared for his or her next high school season.  The Senior Team continues an athlete’s development to the NDT. It also prepares the athlete to be a significant contributor to his or her high school team. The ND is for the completely focused swimmer trying to be the best he or she can be in swimming. Team Goals include: Top 10 club team finishes at Nationals and Junior Nationals Team Champions at Sectionals and FG SR Champs
Recommended Commitment 2 – 3 Times Per Week 3 – 4 Times Per Week 4 – 6 Times Per Week or More  3 Time Per Week  5 – 6 Times Per Week  MUST attend an average of 6x per week or more
Meets

Local Development and Sizzler (for ages 8 & Under) Meets Swimmers will race 25’s and 50’s of each stroke 100 Free, and 100 IM.

FG JO and Winter Championships and FG invite meets Local (Area) Development Meets Swimmers will race: 50’s and 100’s of each stroke 200 FR and 200 IM

FG JO and Winter Championships and FG invite meets FG Senior Meets and Area Development Meets. Swimmers will race ALL distances and strokes. All Senior Team meets available; Participation Not Required FG Senior Champs and FG SR Invites FG JO and Winter Champs and FG Inivte Meets All High School Championships – Regional / Districts Olympic and World Championship Trials USA National and Junior Champs USA Grand Prix, Sectional Champs, and other Travel meets FG SR Champs and FG SR Invites FG JO and Winter Champs and FG Invite Meets All High School Championships – State / Regional / Districts
Entry Guidelines Swim Freestyle and Backstroke legally Coach’s recommendation based on the swimmer’s mastery of the Bronze level skills, concepts, and commitment. Coach’s recommendation based on the swimmer’s mastery of the Silver level skills, concepts, and commitment;  and achievement of Qualifying Competitive Times and Training Sets Know of all 4 strokes; 500 yards straight swim under 10:00 Participation in USA Swimming Meets is required  MUST make: 4+ Local SCS Spring Q-times in 2 or more strokes OR ** Site Head Coach may invite Swimmers who commit to the Attendance guideline AND who make the training sets at intervals 10 seconds faster than the guideline
